A Tillandsia (sometimes called 'Air Plant') is a Bromeliad...but not all Bromeliads are Tillandsias. Bromeliad is the Family name. Tillandsia is the genus. There are hundreds of different types and yours might not look like the one in the picture. Air plants grow without soil often on the branches of trees. They are tender and don't like cold. Mist your Tillandsia with water once or twice a week. Maybe she will flower!
